Jesse Rex just installed a new smoke detector in my house. He was very professional, extremely efficient, took about 15 minutes to get the project completed. The price was reasonable, and I am very pleased to have found this wonderful service for this and all future electrical projects. Thanks, Jesse, for doing such a great job. It was much appreciated.

This morning Dan came to get my pool light working which has been inoperable for 9 months. When the pool light went out 9 months ago, after doing all the common sense things to fix it, we called an electrician to come help us and they charged a diagnostic fee and said it would cost 750.00 to fix it. Consequently it remained inoperable until recently when we came to meet Luminous Electric . We mustered up our courage, tried again to get help from an electrician to get the light working, and Dan from Luminous Electric arrived on time, diagnosed the problem in a very calculated way, quickly, and determined that it is most likely the lamp/light bulb…
While he was in my home he tightened things in my electrical panel and gave me helpful info regarding electrical maintenance. He said, get another bulb, put it in and call me if you have any problems.
I needed this genuine act of professionalism and kindness. I really needed that.
Luminous Electric will be our electrical go to company from now on.

Luminous Electric did a wonderful job. A definite shout out to Mike and Jesus who were professional, polite and did what they said they would do. If there were problems they address it. Since they were installing a new service line they needed to dig a trench for FPL. They left my property neat with little scaring and replaced the turf where they could. Fantastic company to do business with. They were able to accommodate our busy schedule. Our electrician Dan, was a professional in every manner. He gave ideas and suggestions on the layout of our lighting so that we would not have any harsh shadows from the lighting. Our kitchen now looks great with recessed lighting!!! We certainly will not think twice about calling for any future service, and we will for Dan by name!!! The entire process was very professional from start to finish. The office called and set the appointment and followed up with an acknowledgement of the appointment. They called 30 minutes before arrival and where right on time.Dan and Glen where professional in their work and explained what and how they where going to correct my problem. Your technician, Cody was great! He answered all our questions and if I didn’t understand something he was very patient with us and explained things until we did. Needed installation service. Luminous verified the request and sent an electrician to the job site for an estimate. Accepted estimate so installation was completed on the spot. Eli, our electrician, was very informative with other options for our new home. Very pleasant individual. They will be my call next time there is a need.

Alex did a GREAT job for us. We ran into some unforeseen behind-the-wall structural obstacles and he was able to execute an ingenious workaround that resolved the issue and got the job completed, and cleaned the work area to an immaculate state. Eli was fabulous! Smart, well prepared, professional, and a problem solver. We had three projects and he completed them all with the ultimate care and skill-one including a very old and fragile glass chandelier. Luminous Electric was priced more than fairly given the exceptional quality of work and with no “trip fee” that is now typical. They are great at communicating with you and I will gladly use them again and hopefully get Eli. This is an easy decision if you are looking for a positive experience!

From the first phone call to set up an appointment, I was impressed with the professionalism and friendly courtesy i received. Very professional and knowledgeable. The job we needed wasn’t small but it wasn’t large either. The service tech’s were timely, polite and efficient, the lead was a Master Electrician with 20+ years experience. I also liked the office procedures in place. The company responded to my email inquiry promptly, they also have notifications in place to inform the customer when they are on the way. Family owned and operated, I feel like I got a fair deal and price for my project. Highly recommend.

This is a good company. The estimate was clear. SO we asked them to complete 5 fan installations which was efficient & timely. Great value for money and a personal touch. We had them back for more work & got the same person who knew our home well!I unequivocally recommend Luminous Electric to you!

This company has been terrific. They assessed completely, my project which included extensive rewiring in a 1926 home, new appliance outlets and riser service. Their proposal was thorough and competitive. I choose Luminous because of the thorough nature of their proposal, competitive pricing, and the explanation and experience of the electrician Mike. Jason and Allen provided us a quote for installation of a second bathroom receptacle. In addition, they provided a recommendation for a better whole house surge protector than one we currently have. First of all, thank you to Missy for being so pleasant over the phone answering any questions I had. I went with someone else prior and day of their second return I felt unsure. I looked up electricians near me, luminous came up first with all good reviews so I gave them a call. Missy was so helpful! I am more than pleased that Mike T got sent out to my house. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, and didn’t rush the job at all. He was determined to find the issues I had and even fix the issues that came up directly after that. Michael is and will always be my, our electrician! He came highly recommend from my business partner and after my first experience with him he was and stillIs exceptional!!!! I’m NOT the easiest person to please or wow and Michael has done both each time. I’ve hired him on several occasions!Michael is quite the perfectionist and for an OCD person like myself I NEVER had to question his work or ask him back out to fix something he’s done. He and his assistants are so very careful when working in your home, place of business. He goes above and beyond to execute what he’s been hired for and NEVER EVER does he cut corners or do what they call a half a$$ job! Great experience. I was stood up by another company to set up electrical for my hot tub. Nick was here within 2 hours. He was courteous, friendly & knowledgeable. I decided to schedule the job with Luminous & they were available the next day. Nick & his partner did an awesome job! The price I paid was the exact price I was quoted. Luminous Electric did an excellent job moving my power panel and doing the massive rewiring that was required. Everyone, from the office staff to the technicians, Mike and Jessie, was friendly and very professional. They weren’t cheap, but the work was done in a day, done right, and I was able to stay at my home that evening. Good experience overall.

We had just purchased a boat and the lift wouldn’t work. We needed an electrician ASAP. After several calls trying to determine the issue I contacted Luminous and they were able to send out Steven. He was so knowledgeable and hard working. He continued even in the rain!! He had to take apart part of the dock to fix it. We so appreciate his thoroughness! Mike and Jesus came out to look at my house because of an electrical issue. They were really friendly. Diagnosed and fixed the issue really quickly. The job was a little more than I expected but not an issue. Will use in the near future.

I would highly recommend Luminous Electric. Their pricing was competitive. They were honest and professional. They did the work they quoted for the price they quoted and explained everything in layman’s terms. I even received texts with pictures of the electricians who will be coming to my house so I knew who to expect.

Excellent customer service told me what I needed to fix, what I should consider fixing, and what needed to be fixed if an issue develops. Came up with best plan based on my needs. Best electric company I dealt with by far after consulting 3 recommended companies, this was most up front reasonable company by far. Not to name drop but technician Jason Delaney was top notch professionalism. Would without a doubt recommend this company, and definitely this technician.

I called for an emergency at 11 pm and a person answers saying he would be here in an hour. This was after calling 7 other companies advertising 24/7 service with an answering machine saying they’ll call back quickly and now 12 hours later not a single call. James arrived on time and diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes he walked me through not only how the problem came to be but also how he was going to fix it. He performed the repair quickly and showed me the finished product. I would definitely use luminous electric again and have saved them on my phone. If you need an electrician day or night there’s only one number you need to call and that’s luminous Electric. Thank you James for your professionalism and making sure before you left that I was no longer worried about a possible fire in the walls.

This is the second time we have used Luminous. They are very quick to respond to requests for service. Edwin and Aaron were professional, polite and personable. Did a nice job explaining what was needed and how to best approach the problems. We would recommend Luminous for any electrical issues.

Bought a home in Panther Ridge in fall, 2017. Had a number of electrical projects that needed to be completed…new fan installations (11), lighting circuit rewiring (many), new circuits run (a couple), new hanging light fixture installations (5) and several other smaller projects. I called Luminous Electric and set up a work list based on my schedule and the availability of their subject matter expert technicians. I will say that we got everything done in good order…each and every time a Luminous Technician showed up they were on time, very courteous and extremely competent at getting the job(s) done with no wasted time. Pricing was extremely reasonable (based on my experience) and I would unreservedly recommend this company to anyone looking to make household electrical repairs and upgrades.

Eli and Mike T from the St Pete office were more than professional electricians. I was immediately impressed with the photo and short bio sent via text 30 min before their arrival. They surveyed our situation witch was diagnosed as a “dead leg” (meaning only half of the house and its appliances and climate systems were getting proper power supply). I was given three price and timeframe options as well as honest evaluation of some potential issues..no pressure, no sell job..totally impressed with the marketing and professional manner of these two gentlemen and I now have Luminous Electric on speed dial. And let me also mention that the young lady who took my initial call was efficient and superior in all ways! A really solid company!

We employed Luminous to install a Tesla wall charger. The work was done professionally and on time. Scheduling was easy and Luminous does a good job of communicating about when they will arrive and what the job entails.

We had a wonderful experience with Luminous Electric. We moved in this year to our home and felt the panel should be inspected to be sure everything is good and properly done. We got a appointment right away and they sent Nick today. He was excellent, professional, thorough and explained everything to us. He did find a problem, fixed it and also installed a full house surge protector we wanted. We are very happy with the job he did and highly recommend both Luminous and Nick.

This was a great experience and with an Electric Company I would definitely use again. From the appointment to the service, it was expedient and top notch. Jason and Pete were the Electricians who arrived and installed an exterior outlet for me and placed a surge protector on the electrical box. These guys were great and very safety minded, answering all of my questions. We also had conversation about fire safety and smoke alarms in which I learned a few things. I highly recommend them. I will use them again and appreciated their quick response to my need.

What a great first time experience. I called at 9am snd spoke with Missy about having 5 ceiling fans installed. She arranged to have 2 electricians there within 3 hours. All installations were done in a timely manner by two of the nicest people I have met!! We will absolutely keep Luminous as our electricians.

I called the company this week on a Monday morning and 1,5 hours later their electrician (Jesse) already showed up. He proposed to start with a analysis and diagnose of the problem (no power at outdoor outlet) , fixed it within 45 minutes, performed a smoke detector test and replaced all smoke detectors . Next to this he also installed a surge to prevent lightning damage. Everything was done after professionally explaining the steps to be taken and making an estimate before starting the job. Jesse acted as a very professional and responsive person and I can highly recommend him.

Luminous Electric completed major electrical repairs to our home in January 2018. They worked in shifts, non-stop, for over 12 hours to ensure our home and schedule were not interrupted further. not a big talker …so here goes…if you desire the best workmanship and best price this the company you need. very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to get job done and finished correctly. i would have given them a 10 star but all that was available was 5. next job i need i am calling them.

Luminous electric did a fantastic job of installing an outlet on the wall to hang our TV. Chad and Nick took care to install it precisely where we asked and cleaned the area of debris thoroughly when they were complete. As part of the install, they routinely inspect the panel and found two code violations, where two circuits were running off of one breaker. These two circuits were each given their own breaker. All of this work was done with courtesy and attention to detail!

My outside left of house landscaping light would not come on after trying to install a replacement light. They determined my transformer was bad and gave the details of what model to purchase to replace it. Secondly I had to replace a salt generator for my pool but after running out of ideas I couldn’t get my pool lights to come back on. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. Luminous was very throw and determined it was my inside manual light switch that needed to be replaced. I would never thought about that since it was working fine before the salt generator was installed. I was very impressed with their expertise and thoroughness of their work. It was also helpful for me to go over all the steps that were taken in determining the resolution. I would use Luminous in a heartbeat again.

Third-time user of Luminous and will continue to call them when needed. Their field staff knows code and adheres to it. Having been a builder in a previous life, and the son of an electrical engineer who worked as an electrician while obtaining his degree, I know of what I speak. Not necessarily the cheapest out there, but when it comes to electrical work, it needs to be done correctly the first time – you may not get a second chance! We had a scheduling hiccup, but John took care of it quickly and appropriately. Great Job, guys!

Electrician Dan F., provided exceptional service while installing our new ceiling fan. He arrived at our home about 10 minutes early, which was great, explained everything he was going to do and gave us a very fair and reasonable price quote. The fan looks amazing and we will not hesitate to use Dan F. and Luminous Electric for any future electrical needs.

I had Luminous replace my power box after receiving several estimates. They were not the cheapest but were competitive and I have used them in the past. I think they provide excellent customer service, outstanding work and reasonable pricing. I recommend them for any electrical work you may have.
