When you visit the Site

When you visit our website (the “Site”), a cookie — a small text file — may be stored on your device. Phone numbers and text messaging

If you provide your phone number and consent to be contacted, we may contact you by phone call, text message, and email about your request, including through automated technology. Your consent covers Luminous Electric and its affiliated Liberty Service Partners brands. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors performing support services, such as customer service or messaging platform providers, is limited to what is necessary to perform those services, and those parties are prohibited from using the information for any other purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

Call recording

Calls to and from Luminous Electric may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, dispatch, and dispute resolution purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please tell the representative at the start of the call or contact us in writing at luminous@libertyservicepartners.com.

Photos and job-site media

Our technicians take photographs and, in some cases, video of equipment and work areas before, during, and after service. This media is used to document the condition of the equipment, support warranty and insurance claims, train our teams, and resolve disputes. We do not use identifiable images of your home or property in marketing materials without your permission.

Connected equipment and remote monitoring

Standby generators we sell and service may include remote monitoring capability that connects to your home Wi-Fi or a cellular network. When monitoring is enabled, the equipment manufacturer and we may receive operating data such as run time, exercise cycles, fault and maintenance alerts, battery and fuel status, and the location of the unit. This data is used to monitor the health of your equipment, dispatch service, and fulfill warranty obligations, and it is subject to the equipment manufacturer’s own privacy terms, which govern any homeowner app you enroll in. You may disable remote monitoring by contacting us, though doing so will limit our ability to detect faults proactively.

Financing applications

If you apply for financing through us, the information you provide in the application — which may include financial and identity information — is transmitted to the third-party lender or lending platform you apply with, currently including GoodLeap, Synchrony, Modernize. Those lenders are independent companies and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies and disclosures, which they will provide to you during the application.

When you choose to receive email from us

From time to time you may receive emailed information about our products, promotions, and services. In addition to email, you may occasionally receive special mailings from us. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us at luminous@libertyservicepartners.com.

When you enter a contest or complete a survey

Contests and surveys give us an opportunity to improve our offerings and enhance the Site. While we do not release specific information about participants, we may occasionally email participants about special offers and Site updates.

We may collect user profile information such as the referring URL. This information is used to identify broad demographic trends so we can tailor information to your interests. You will not be personally identified from this information.

Non-sharing of personal information

We respect your privacy and do not sell, trade, or share your personal information for marketing purposes.
